It was a weekend full of quality matches and talented juniors. The North Harbour u13 Open had the title of being the biggest sanctioned u13 event in the history of New Zealand badminton and it did not disappoint. With 197 matches to complete in the two day event, it was always going to be a very busy tournament. The players showed their true talent, sportmanship and committment to their sport, with New Zealand’s future being very healthy if these juniors are anything to go by.
