The North Harbour u13 and u19 players had busy weekends with tournaments in Palmerston North and Waitakere respectively. The u13 players traveled to the home of Manawatu Badminton to compete at the Manawatu/North Island u13 Championships. A very large contingent of 18+ players traveled the long distance to be a part of this competition.
It turned out to be well worth the effort, with titles in the girls singles, girls doubles, mixed doubles and runner up in boys doubles.
The u19 players were a little closer to home with Waitakere Badminton hosting the competition. North Harbour players featured in four of the five finals. A great weekend all round for North Harbour junior badminton.
