Badminton North Harbour is delighted to welcome Lim Pek Siah as our new coach! With her incredible accomplishments in the world of badminton, Lim brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to our community.
As a former Malaysian national player and a Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Lim Pek Siah has competed at the highest levels of the sport. Her achievements as both a player and national team coach reflect her deep understanding of badminton and her commitment to fostering excellence. She has worked as a national coach for Malaysia and Singapore, with her players attaining gold medals at the Commonwealth Games.
Our current coaches, Fanny and Eei Hui, have known Pek Siah for many years, with Fanny meeting her as a player in the Malaysian national team in 2000. This bodes well for our new addition to the fantastic coaching team at Badminton North Harbour.
Pek Siah will play a key role in mentoring our players, developing their skills, and enhancing the overall badminton experience at North Harbour. Her leadership and passion for the game align perfectly with our mission to inspire and support athletes at all levels, including reaching for international heights.
