Ten North Harbour players together with one each from Waikato and Auckland are soon to leave for Indonesia after receiving an invitation to participate at the POLYTRON SUPERLIGA JUNIOR INVITATION 2024.
This tournament will be played in the Thomas and Uber Cup format beginning on 12 August running through to 18 August. Teams from eight countries have been invited to participate; China, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Malaysia and New Zealand. Teams represent either a province, association, or club within their country.
North Harbour has two coaches travelling with the players, Coaching Manager Fanny Megahwati, and representative coach, Eei Hui Chen.
Two age groups, u17 & u19 will feature at this tournament with the North Harbour group playing in the u19 division.
