The Over 55’s Badminton Club is a group of older players who like some regular exercise and a good social atmosphere at a non-competitive level.
The club meets every Monday (Public Holidays Inclusive) and Thursday afternoons at the Active Badminton Centre, 46 Apollo Drive, Auckland.
The club does recess from mid-December to mid-January).
Play commences at 1 pm to 3 pm.
Cost per session payable on the day and is currently $5.00
While the club always enjoy having new members, there are some criteria for membership:
- You must be over 55 years of age
- Preferably had some previous experience in the sport/and/or take coaching lessons
- Be prepared to play mixed doubles
