The 2023 season has been a challenging, yet interesting campaign for North Harbour. Without our hall, we have managed to earn 9 gold medals in the team competitions across the representative age groups. If you would like to be a part of this dream team, this is your chance!
The following age groups are looking for expressions of interest. You may play for more than one age group if you qualify. All ages are as of 2024:
- Masters: 35+
- Vets: 50+
- Super Vets: 60+
If you are interested in playing Masters, Vets or Super Vets for BNH in 2024, please complete the expression of interest form and then we can assess how many teams we should enter.
We are still unsure when our hall will be operational, but we are hopeful that it will be around April/May 2024. Due to our circumstances, we will not be able to conduct trials, but the selectors, Stephen Bowden and Lisa Connell, will do their best to accommodate players as best they can based on previous years and any other additional information that can be considered.
We are currently waiting on the proposed calendar and tie schedules from Badminton New Zealand. However, this will only be released once associations have confirmed how many teams they wish to register and in what competitions. To ensure this happens as quickly as possible, we need your replies urgently so we can format our own team numbers and submit these to Badminton New Zealand.
Please register your interest by Friday the 3rd of November as we will only look to put in enough teams to accommodate the demand.
