The women’s doubles final at the North Island/North Harbour Open 2018 was the show stopper in a day of great matches. Being an all North Harbour final, it did have the potential to become another training run, but with ex Korean and Indonesian Internationals, plus long time Harbour rep Anona Pak on the court, this proved to be a blinder of a final. Support from the spectators was very vocal as they witnessed amazing technical skill, determination and exhaustive rallies. No-one could be disappointed with what they witnessed with both pairs deserving the glory, however only one pair could win. Hyun Jeong Ko/Jesica Muljati defeated Anona Pak/Fransisca Rahardja 21-18 5-21 21-15.
